Very true. PMCm is such a solution. The ITRS show very clearly the technical bottlenecks that confront both DRAM and flash memory development. There will be evolutionary versions of these conventional technologies but they will not offer the same performance, cost or integration advantages that are inherent in the PMCm concept.
